We offer a variety of cardiac testing in our clinic. This includes Echocardiogram, EKG, Holter monitors, and Event monitors.  The kind of testing will depend on the symptoms you child has and on the physical exam findings combined with any previous testing results.  

Echocardiogram: a test of the function of the heart using ultrasound waves to produce a visual display, used for the diagnosis or monitoring of heart disease.

Electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of the heart. An EKG shows the heart's electrical activity as line tracings on paper. The spikes and dips in the tracings are called waves.

Holter monitor: a portable device that records the rhythm of the heart continuously, typically for 24–48 hours, by means of electrodes attached to the chest.

Event monitor: a portable device that you control to tape-record your heart's electrical activity (ECG) when you have symptoms. There are two types of event recorders: a loop memory monitor and a symptom event monitor.

You may also go the "CONTACT US" page and email us with you name and best phone number or email to reach you  and we will call you back to schedule an appointment.  

Please arrive on time for your appointment, as we may have to reschedule if you arrive late. For the initial visit, the patient must check in 15 minutes prior to the appointment time. Your Co-Pay or Deductible will be collected at check-in. Please inform the staff whenever there have been insurance, address, or other important changes.

Cancellation Fees

For all cancellations, 1 full business day notification is required or a fee will be incurred. 

Payments and Fees

All co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of your appointment. We accept major credit cards, cash and checks.

Insurances

We accept most insurances. If your insurance is an HMO, you will need an authorization from your primary care doctor for the consultation.
